FASTEST RECITATION OF THE PERIODIC TABLE AND 168 HUMAN INTERNAL ORGANS IN ENGLISH AND TAMIL (4 MINUTES) This world record event was successfully organized by the Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) in collaboration with the People Helping People Foundation (PHPF). S. Kanshika, Daughter of Mr. T. Sangaradas and Mrs. P. Bamini, Born on 09-06-2016, A student of CP/W Rillamulla Primary School, Residing at Kandapola, Nuwara Eliya District, Sri Lanka. She successfully recited the entire Periodic Table in just 24 seconds, followed by the names of 168 human internal organs in both English and Tamil within 90 seconds, demonstrating her exceptional memory power and bilingual proficiency. The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) proudly recognizes this extraordinary and first-of-its-kind achievement as an official world record. This remarkable event took place on 16-07-2025 at CP/W Rillamulla Primary School, Kandapola, Nuwara Eliya District, Sri Lanka, in the gracious presence of Mr. V. Vijendran, Principal of the school. The speech delivered by Dr.N.Nimalan- founder and chief-editor of CBWR, to the below mentioned world record event: Three-Year-Old Girl from Chavakachcheri, Thasvika, Sets Cholan World Record and Receives the Title "Mazhalai Mozhi Viththagar" Thasvika, a three-year-old girl from Chavakachcheri and the daughter of Mr. Jeyakaran and Mrs. Denika, has set a remarkable Cholan World Record by reciting the English meanings for 1500 Tamil words in the shortest time. Her exceptional linguistic performance earned her the prestigious title “Mazhalai Mozhi Viththagar” (Young Linguistic Prodigy). The record-setting event took place at Chavakachcheri Hindu College in the presence of Cholan Book of World Records adjudicators including Sri Nagavani Raja (Vice President of CBWR – Sri Lanka branch), Durai Pranav Selvan (Jaffna District President), and Rasathurai Jayasudharshan (Kilinochchi District President). The adjudicators closely monitored the performance and officially recognized it as a world record. To honor her achievement, Thasvika was awarded a certified world record certificate, a memorial shield, an ID card, a gold medal, and a recognition file. In addition, her outstanding translation skills at such a young age were acknowledged with the honorary title “Mazhalai Mozhi Viththagar” by the Cholan Book of World Records. This event was jointly organized by the Cholan Book of World Records and the Peoples Helping People Foundation, and was coordinated by the local community of Thenmarachchi. Dr. S. K. Kannadasan, Head of the Department of Translation Studies at the University of Jaffna, participated as the chief guest and offered his heartfelt congratulations to the young record-holder. Ms. E. In a Cholan World Record attempt organized by Chanakya Academy in Pudukkottai, 152 Silambam practitioners (both male and female) came together and successfully performed the 'Naalu Veedu' spinning technique continuously 333 times within 33 minutes. This extraordinary feat was officially recognized as a world record by the Cholan Book of World Records. This historic world record event was notably held in the presence of Pudukkottai Mayor Mrs. Thilagavathi Senthil, District Chief Education Officer Mr. K. Shanmugam, and District Sports Officer Mr. T. The Biggest Pongal Pot Portrait Government School Creates a Cholan World Record by Drawing a 133-Foot-Tall Pongal Pot during Pongal Celebrations Students of the Government Higher Secondary School in Thiruvathavur, near Melur in Madurai district, celebrated this year’s Tamil festival Pongal and Thiruvalluvar Day in a grand manner. In honor of the 133 chapters in the Thirukkural, 133 students and teachers collaboratively created a massive 133-foot-tall and 70-foot-wide colorful kolam (traditional drawing) of a Pongal pot, complete with a stove, on the ground. They completed this extraordinary feat in 1,330 seconds to symbolize the 1,330 verses in the Thirukkural. Significantly, the attempt was planned on the first day and successfully executed the following day, making it a unique world record in itself.
11-Year-Old Boy Sets Cholan World Record by Creating Sri Lankan President’s Largest Portrait Using Rubik’s Cubes Sansul Sehansha Lakmal, an 11-year-old boy from Imbulkoda, and the son of Nivin Lakmal and Deepika Kumari, created a massive portrait of Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, measuring 91 inches in height and 68 inches in width, using 1,200 Rubik’s Cubes. He accomplished this feat in 3 hours, 13 minutes, and 7 seconds, earning a place in the Cholan World Records. The event was jointly organized by the Cholan Book of World Records and the Peoples Helping People Foundation. It was held at the Ranaviru Apparel Swimming Pool Complex in Yakkala, in the presence of Brigadier Maha Duvakkar, the commanding officer of the camp, and Brigadier Vasage, the deputy commanding officer. The Cholan World Records' General Secretary, Indranath Perera, vice- president Sri Nagavani Raja, Director of STEPS and President for European Countries of the Cholan Book of World Records Francis Jesudasan, along with the Director of Peoples Helping People Foundation and an executive committee member of the Cholan Book of World Records, formally monitored the boy’s record attempt. In recognition of Sansul’s achievement, the organizers, along with the military officials, presented him with a framed certificate, a gold medal, a commemorative shield, an ID card, and a file to honor his exceptional accomplishment.
