Longest Duration of Silambam Rotation Performed While Walking
72 Participants and their 10 instructors walked 10 kms while rotating silambam (rotating one bamboo stick) continuously for 3 hours.
This is a world record done first of its kind.
This event was officially held on 31-01-2021 at Hindusthan college of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, Tamil nadu, India and organized by Mr.N.Karunakaran (SDRC) state level refree, black belt in Silambam.

72 சிலம்பம் மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் அவர்களின் பயிற்சி ஆசியர்கள் இணைந்து 10Km தூரம் நடந்தவாறே சிலம்பம் சுற்றி புதிய சோழன் உலக சாதனை படைத்துள்ளார்கள்.
3 மணி நேரத்திற்குள் இந்த முயற்சி வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவு செய்யப்பட்ட அதேவேளை இந்த நிகழ்வானது 31.01.2021அன்று கோயம்பத்தூரில் அமைந்துள்ள ஹிந்துஸ்தான் கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரியில் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த நிகழ்வை சிலம்பம் பயிற்சிஆசிரியரும் தேசிய அளவிலான நடுவருமான திரு.N.கருணாகரன் ஒருங்கிணைத்து நடத்தியிருந்தார்.
புதிய சோழன் உலக சாதனை படைத்த அனைத்து சிலம்பாட்ட வீர/வீராங்கனைகளையும், சோழன் உலக சாதனை புத்தக நிறுவனம் பாராட்டும் அதேவேளை இவர்கள்அனைவரும் எதிர்காலத்தில் சிறந்து விளங்குவார்கள் என்ற வாழ்த்தையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறது.
