600 students spinning Silambam sticks with blindfolded continuously for 90 minutes.
The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) recognizes this outstanding accomplishment as the first of its kind.
This event took place on August 4, 2024, at Arani Kottai Playground, Tiruvannamalai District, Tamil Nadu, India, and was organized by Silambam coaches of Arani Kottai Academy, Mr. S. Loganathan and Mr. A. Nandhakumar.
Founder and Chief Editor of CBWR, Dr. Neelamegam Nimalan; General Secretary, Mrs. Arthika Nimalan; Tiruvannamalai District President, Mr. Sivakumar; and Chief Executive Committee Member and Cuddalore District Vice President, H.E. Sivasankaran, monitored and confirmed the event as judges.
