A 5-Year-Old Boy Sets a Cholan World Record by Answering 150 General Knowledge Questions in the Shortest Time
Saswin, the 5-year-old son of Bhaskaran and Vijini from Batticaloa District, answered 150 general knowledge questions correctly in just 4 minutes and 15 seconds. This achievement was monitored by Kadiravan Th. Inbarasa, the joint- Secretary of the Sri Lanka branch of the Cholan Book of World Records, and Mr. Siva Varathakaran, the general- President of Batticaloa District. They presented a framed certificate, a gold medal, an ID card, a memorial plaque, and a file to Saswin in recognition of his remarkable accomplishment.
This event was jointly organized by the Cholan Book of World Records and the People’s Helping People Foundation , while the Kadiravan Organization coordinated the arrangements.
The event was presided over by Sivarasa, the Provincial Director of the Department of Social Services.
The special guests included S. Sudhakaran, the Director of New Opportunities Organization and a school principal, and Kulendirarasa, an advisor of the Kadiravan Social Development Organization and a school principal.
The guest of honor included S.S. Renon Desi Speck, the Deputy Principal of the Primary Section of St. Michael’s College, Batticaloa; Rajini Francis, the Principal of St. Mary's International School, Batticaloa; and Udayaraj, a media director of Minnal Media and a social worker from Canada. They all extended their congratulations to Saswin for achieving the Cholan World Record.
The event was hosted by Solaiyuran Thanuskara, the Vice President of the Kadiravan Organization. Anbalagan Cruz, an advisor of the Kadiravan Organization, delivered the welcome speech, while Development Officer Jegatheeswaran gave the vote of thanks.
Everyone present at the event congratulated Saswin for his outstanding achievement.
