G. Jagadeesh Muthuvel Sets Cholan World Record by Holding Padma Vrikshasana (Lotus Scorpion Pose) for the Longest Duration

 G. Jagadeesh Muthuvel, son of Mr. Gopalakrishnan and Mrs. Sangeetha, born on 16-09-2013, residing at Veerakeralamputhur, Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu, India.

In an inspiring display of strength, flexibility, and focus, he held the Padma Vrikshasana (Lotus Scorpion Pose) continuously for an impressive 150 seconds. His exceptional dedication to yoga and physical discipline at a young age has set a benchmark in the world of yoga-based records.

The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) officially recognizes this outstanding accomplishment as the first of its kind world record.

This record-setting event took place on 31-05-2025 at Panchayat Union Primary School, Veerakeralamputhur, Tenkasi District, Tamil Nadu, and was meticulously organized by yoga master Mr. M. Maruthupandi, founder of Phoenix Yoga Centre.
