E. Balashree Sets Cholan World Record by Writing 12 Tamil Month Names in Scorpion Pose in Record Time

 E. Balashree, daughter of Mr. Esakkiraj and Mrs. Sethu Ramalakshmi, born on 24-01-2015, residing at Veerakeralamputhur, Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu, India.

In an extraordinary demonstration of flexibility, determination, and cultural pride, she wrote the 12 Tamil month names while holding her body in Vrichikasanam (Scorpion Pose). She completed this remarkable feat in just 1 minute and 5 seconds, setting a new benchmark in yoga-based achievements.

The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) proudly recognizes this outstanding accomplishment as the first of its kind world record.

This record-setting event was held on 31-05-2025 at the Panchayat Union Primary School, Veerakeralamputhur, Tenkasi District, Tamil Nadu, and was meticulously organized by yoga master Mr. M. Maruthupandi, founder of Phoenix Yoga Centre.
