Khetherine Steven has achieved an extraordinary milestone by becoming the first female rider to reach Umling La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, standing at an elevation of approximately 19,024 ft (5,883 m) above sea level. This remarkable expedition demanded exceptional physical endurance, advanced riding skills, and remarkable mental resilience.
As a dedicated rider, she braved extreme weather conditions, low oxygen levels, and unpredictable road challenges in the high-altitude region of Ladakh, India. Despite the harsh climate and unforgiving terrain of the Himalayas, she completed her journey with unwavering courage, determination, and an inspiring passion for motorcycling. Her achievement stands as a powerful testament to women’s empowerment, adventure spirit, and human perseverance.
