GLOBAL TAMIL SCHOOL UK SETS FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND TAMIL LITERARY WORLD RECORD IN EUROPE
A total of 54 participants successfully recited selected verses from the eighteen renowned ancient Tamil literary works known as the Pathinenkeelkanakku.
This remarkable achievement is especially commendable as the participants are young children residing in Western countries, demonstrating exceptional dedication to preserving and promoting the richness of the Tamil language and its classical heritage across borders.
The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) proudly recognizes this outstanding accomplishment as the first of its kind in the United Kingdom and European region, marking a significant milestone in the global celebration of Tamil literature.
This event was held on 03 May 2026 at Oscar Frey Hall, West Drayton Community Centre, London, UB7 9JL, United Kingdom, and was successfully organized by Global Tamil School, United Kingdom.
CBWR extends its heartfelt congratulations to the participants and expresses its sincere appreciation to the Global Tamil School for its commendable efforts in nurturing cultural awareness and literary excellence among young learners.
