YOUNGEST BOY TO SUMMIT THE TOP 7 MOUNTAINS IN PENINSULAR MALAYSIA
Kuberan A/L Poobalan, a remarkable 12-year-old, for successfully conquering the Top 7 highest mountains in Peninsular Malaysia within an extraordinary period of just 7 months.
The mountains summited are: Mount Tahan, Mount Korbu, Mount Yong Belar, Mount Gayong, Mount Chamah, Mount Yong Yap, and Mount Ulu Sepat.
Kuberan hails from Kulim, Kedah, and is currently a student of Standard 6 Senthamil at SJKT Kulim. He has been studying at this institution since Standard 1 in 2021. At such a young age, his determination, endurance, and passion for mountaineering are truly inspiring.
Hiking is his mother’s favourite hobby, and she loves spending her weekends exploring nature trails and hills. During weekends, she often brings her children along for hiking adventures, where they enjoy the fresh air and peaceful surroundings. These activities have helped Kuberan become stronger, more confident, and more disciplined. Whenever the journey becomes difficult or tiring, he learns to stay motivated and continue moving forward. Through these hiking experiences, Kuberan has developed patience, courage, and the determination to never give up easily in life.
