8-Year-Old Tamil Boy Makes History by Identifying All 197 Countries, Flags and Capitals

Palermo, Italy:
An 8-year-old Tamil student living in Italy, Rohinton Robinat Nesarajah, has achieved a remarkable world-record feat by accurately identifying the locations of all 197 countries on a world map, recognising their national flags, and correctly naming their respective capitals.

The young achiever, son of Mr. Robinat Nesarajah and Mrs. Colastika, demonstrated his exceptional geographical knowledge and memory during a special world-record event held in Palermo, Italy.

In recognition of his outstanding accomplishment, Rohinton Robinat Nesarajah has been officially registered in the Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR), headquartered in India, and the International Achiever Book of World Records (IABWR), headquartered in London.

The record event was conducted under the leadership of Palermo Mayor Roberto Lagalla, with Pino Mancuso, Vice President of the City of Palermo, presiding over the occasion.

Maria Purapato, Headmistress of the school where Rohinton studies, and Ramani Thiyagaraja, Tamil community representative in Palermo, attended the event as special guests and congratulated the young achiever on his remarkable accomplishment.

On behalf of the Palermo City Administration, Rohinton was honoured with a certificate and medal in recognition of his achievement.

The world-record organisations also honoured the young record holder by presenting him with framed certificates, medals, a commemorative plaque, an identity card, and an official record file.

Rohinton's ability to identify the geographical locations of 197 countries, recognise their national flags, and accurately name their capitals at such a young age has attracted appreciation from both the Italian community and the Tamil community.

The achievement is a remarkable demonstration of the young student's exceptional memory, geographical knowledge, dedication, discipline, and consistent practice.
