Longest distance walking in backwards in 24 hours
Balamurugan, son of Suppaiyah,( born on 05-03-1989),A resident of Rajagambeeram, Sivagangai district, Tamil nadu, India,
 is on service in 'Assam' rifle unit of Indian Army with the unit number- 5016462L
He is now declared as achiever who
Has performed 157 kms of 'backward walking' in 24 hours without break for any rest.
Officially started by the Sivagangai district collector Mr.J.Jeyakanthan, IAS, at 8.30 am on 9-7-2019 the feat was performed till the same time on the next day.
This world record event was held at Sivagangai district collectorate ground.

1000 kms backward walking in 14 days creating global awareness initiative on corona virus and registered as a world record on Cholan Book Of World Records.

This token of appreciation is granted to Mr.S.Balamurugan, a soldier of the Indian Army (Vaigai Pattalam) for their productive contribution in encouraging S Balamurugan who is a soldier of Indian Army-Assam rifle regiment (Vaigai Pattalam) for his remarkable world record event walking 1000 Kms backwards by walking forwardly with him.
While walking he has assisted in distributing circa 100,000 leaflets to increase a greater awareness on corona virus infection and circa 5,000 masks to encourage the public to prevent them from the deadly virus infection. This was parrellay delivered along with the continuous announcement about the corona virus awareness and the importance in preventing from the potential spreading for the 14 consecutive days.
This remarkable world record event was officially inaugurated on 27.06.2020 at 9.00 am by the Hon, Mr.J.Jeyakanthan IAS., Sivagangai District Collector and It was successfully completed on 11.07.2020 at 9.00 am at the Collectorate complex.
Hon, Sivagangai District Collector Mr.J.Jeyakanthan IAS supported to raise awareness about the corona virus infection to the public and to paid tribute to the casualties throughout the world.
