Young Prodigy Sets Record with Extraordinary Collection of Rare International Coins and Currencies

In an inspiring display of passion and dedication, Mari Vignesh S, a young school student from Theni, Tamil Nadu, has achieved a remarkable milestone in the field of numismatics.

Born on 26 August 2013 to Mr. Subramaniam and Mrs. Muthumani, he is currently pursuing his studies at Mary Matha Matric Higher Secondary School, Theni.
At such a young age, Mari Vignesh has successfully amassed an extraordinary collection of 1,200 rare international coins and 200 currencies from across the globe.

 A significant portion of his collection includes ancient and historically valuable coins, reflecting not only his deep curiosity but also his exceptional commitment and perseverance in exploring the rich heritage of global currencies.

In recognition of this outstanding feat, the Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) has officially acknowledged his achievement as one of the youngest school students to curate such an extensive and rare collection.

This accomplishment stands as a testament to his unwavering enthusiasm, discipline, and intellectual pursuit in the fascinating world of numismatics.

Recognition Ceremony
The official recognition ceremony was held on 20 March 2026 at the BHEL Auditorium, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), Tamil Nadu, India.
The prestigious event was meticulously organized by Mr. D. Selvaraj and coordinated by Mr. I. Kulandaisamy, ensuring a grand and memorable celebration of this exceptional achievement.
