Jesuraj, M.Sc., B.Ed., Ph.D. (Chemistry), Headmaster of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India, in recognition of his 29 years of dedicated service to education, humanity and student welfare.

Honouring 29 Years of Dedicated Service to Education, Humanity and Student Welfare

Born on 5 April 1968 to Mr. S. Savarimuthu and Mrs. S. Jeyaseeli, Rev. Fr. Dr. S. Jesuraj has devoted 29 remarkable years to priesthood and education, including 17 years of exemplary service as a Headmaster. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated outstanding leadership, compassion and an unwavering commitment to transforming young lives through education.

His educational philosophy is founded on the belief that every student deserves equal opportunities, dignity and respect. He has worked tirelessly to promote students’ academic, intellectual, emotional, moral and social development while encouraging scientific thinking, creativity, discipline and individual talents.

His selfless service extends beyond the classroom. He has provided financial assistance to underprivileged students, supported children at risk of discontinuing their education and advocated for the welfare, dignity and inclusion of students with disabilities. His compassionate interventions have enabled many students to continue their education and pursue a brighter future.

One of his notable contributions was introducing a breakfast programme at Pallangkoil School many years before the Government’s breakfast scheme was implemented, reflecting his foresight and humanitarian commitment. He has also played a valuable role in preserving and promoting the traditional arts of the Thanjavur region by training students and providing opportunities for them to showcase their cultural talents.

His 29-year journey exemplifies the true purpose of education: not merely imparting knowledge, but nurturing character, hope, dignity and humanity. His dedication to student welfare and social upliftment has made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless young people.

In recognition of his exceptional educational leadership, selfless service, outstanding contribution to student welfare, commitment to social development and promotion of traditional culture, the Cholan Book of World Records conferred this prestigious award upon him as a mark of honour, gratitude and appreciation for his extraordinary contribution to education and humanity.

St. Benedict’s College Student Sets Record in 50-Metre Breaststroke in 1 Minute 2 Seconds
6-Year-Old Colombo Student R.Jeyhari Achieves Cholan World Record

COLOMBO: Demonstrating exceptional talent, determination and intensive training, 6-year-old Jeyhari, a Grade 1 student of St. Benedict’s College, Colombo, has achieved a Cholan World Record by completing the 50-metre breaststroke in 1 minute and 2 seconds.

A Remarkable Achievement at a Young Age
Jeyhari, the son of Raghunathan and Lakshmi, who reside in Colombo, has shown a keen interest in swimming from a very young age. Recognising his enthusiasm and natural ability, his parents have continuously encouraged him to develop his skills in the sport.

Accordingly, Jeyhari joined Benz Aquatics, the swimming training centre of St. Benedict’s College, where he underwent systematic and intensive swimming training.

In particular, senior swimming coach Kasun Warnaka De Silva, who identified Jeyhari’s exceptional ability in the breaststroke technique, provided him with continuous and intensive training.

The World Record Attempt
Based on Jeyhari’s outstanding ability in the breaststroke technique compared with other young swimmers, his coach believed that he had the potential to achieve a world record.

With the full support and cooperation of the college administration, the Cholan World Record attempt was subsequently held on the morning of 30 September at the swimming pool of St. Benedict’s College.

The record attempt was conducted in the presence of officials and adjudicators from the Cholan Book of World Records. The attempt was directly monitored by Sri Naga Vani Raja, Vice President of the Sri Lanka Branch; Captain H.K. Indranath Perera, General Secretary; and Major Rukshan, Executive Committee Member and District President for Matara, along with other officials.

Completes 50 Metres in 1 Minute 2 Seconds
During the record attempt, 6-year-old Jeyhari successfully completed the 50-metre breaststroke in 1 minute and 2 seconds.

After monitoring and evaluating his performance in accordance with the prescribed rules and regulations, the adjudicators of the Cholan Book of World Records officially announced that his achievement had been recognised and registered as a Cholan World Record.

Record-Breaking Student Honoured
Following his achievement, Jeyhari was congratulated and honoured by the administration of St. Benedict’s College, his swimming coaches, fellow students, and the adjudicators and officials of the Cholan Book of World Records.

In recognition of his achievement, Jeyahari was presented with a framed certificate, gold medal, commemorative plaque, official seal, and record documentation file, among other honours.

 Jayahari’s achievement at such a young age in the field of swimming has brought pride to his parents, coaches, and St. Benedict’s College. His accomplishment also serves as an inspiring example and a source of encouragement for the younger generation interested in swimming.

LONGEST DURATION OF PERFORMING BHARATANATYAM CONTINUOUSLY FOR 5 HOURS IN THE AGE OF 9 YERARS

 REGISRIHA 

Daughter of Mr. Mariyo Franklin Rigis and Mrs. Uthayarany, born on 12-07-2017, a student of KN/Kilinochchi Central Primary School and a Bharatanatyam student of Pirashanthini Dance Academy, residing in Kilinochchi District, Sri Lanka.

She has successfully performed Bharatanatyam continuously for 5 hours, demonstrating exceptional stamina, discipline, dedication, perseverance, and artistic excellence.

The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) proudly recognises this outstanding accomplishment as a first-of-its-kind achievement.

This remarkable accomplishment at such a young age is a testament to her hard work, determination, passion, and unwavering commitment to the art of Bharatanatyam. 

Her achievement serves as an inspiration to other young talents to believe in themselves, practise with dedication, and pursue their dreams with confidence and perseverance.

May this remarkable achievement be the beginning of many more milestones in her journey.

FASTEST TO BREAK THE MOST STONES ON THE ABDOMEN OF THE YOUNGEST FEMALE PARTICIPANT USING A HAMMER, WHILE LYING ON HER BACK WITH HER LEGS AND SHOULDERS SUPPORTED ON TWO CHAIRS

A remarkable achievement has taken place in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu!

Nine-year-old Shafana Cathelin, a student of Sanjo English School, has accomplished an extraordinary feat recognised by the Cholan Book of World Records.

In a challenging demonstration of physical balance, control, and endurance, Shafana successfully completed a record attempt in which twenty stones, weighing a combined total of twenty-five kilograms, were broken one by one on her body using a hammer.

Maintaining a horizontal position, Shafana supported herself with both feet on one chair and her shoulders on another, leaving the middle portion of her body suspended in the air without external support.

Twenty stones were placed across the area between her chest and abdomen, and were broken one by one while she maintained her position.

The remarkable feat was successfully completed within five minutes at the premises of Sanjo English School.

The achievement was officially recognised as a World Record by the Cholan Book of World Records.

The event was organised under the guidance of her Karate Coach, Mr. Diminic Xaviour, who coordinated and oversaw the record attempt.

In recognition of her achievement, Shafana was honoured by the adjudicators with a framed World Record certificate, medal, memento plaque, identity card, record file, and badge.

The historic occasion was held in the presence of Reverend Father Peter Anandh, Principal of Sanjo English School, and Sister Pauly Thevasi.

8-Year-Old Tamil Boy Makes History by Identifying All 197 Countries, Flags and Capitals

Palermo, Italy:
An 8-year-old Tamil student living in Italy, Rohinton Robinat Nesarajah, has achieved a remarkable world-record feat by accurately identifying the locations of all 197 countries on a world map, recognising their national flags, and correctly naming their respective capitals.

The young achiever, son of Mr. Robinat Nesarajah and Mrs. Colastika, demonstrated his exceptional geographical knowledge and memory during a special world-record event held in Palermo, Italy.

In recognition of his outstanding accomplishment, Rohinton Robinat Nesarajah has been officially registered in the Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR), headquartered in India, and the International Achiever Book of World Records (IABWR), headquartered in London.

The record event was conducted under the leadership of Palermo Mayor Roberto Lagalla, with Pino Mancuso, Vice President of the City of Palermo, presiding over the occasion.

Maria Purapato, Headmistress of the school where Rohinton studies, and Ramani Thiyagaraja, Tamil community representative in Palermo, attended the event as special guests and congratulated the young achiever on his remarkable accomplishment.

On behalf of the Palermo City Administration, Rohinton was honoured with a certificate and medal in recognition of his achievement.

The world-record organisations also honoured the young record holder by presenting him with framed certificates, medals, a commemorative plaque, an identity card, and an official record file.

Rohinton's ability to identify the geographical locations of 197 countries, recognise their national flags, and accurately name their capitals at such a young age has attracted appreciation from both the Italian community and the Tamil community.

The achievement is a remarkable demonstration of the young student's exceptional memory, geographical knowledge, dedication, discipline, and consistent practice. His accomplishment serves as an inspiration to children everywhere to pursue knowledge with determination, regular practice, and perseverance.

The achievement of this young Tamil student in Italy has brought pride to his family and the Tamil community while highlighting the remarkable potential of children when their talents are encouraged and nurtured from an early age.

FASTEST TO ROTATE A HULA HOOP 194 TIMES IN ONE MINUTE AT THE TENDER AGE OF 4 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS

This Individual World Record Certificate is proudly presented to KAYAL ISAI S., daughter of Mr. Sri Venkatesh S. and Mrs. Jayashree N., born on 14 February 2022, and residing in Vellalore, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in recognition of her outstanding achievement.

She successfully rotated a hula hoop 194 times continuously within one minute at the tender age of just 4 years and 6 months.

This extraordinary feat reflects her remarkable focus, coordination, determination, and natural talent at such a young age, setting a shining example of what dedication and practice can achieve.

This certificate is issued on 18 August 2026.

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN RAPID MATHEMATICAL COMPUTATION AND ADVANCED MULTIPLICATION AT THE TENDER AGE OF 7

This World Record Certificate is proudly presented to R. Elangamani, beloved son of Mr. A. Raju and Mrs. B. Narthana, born on 02-04-2019, and a student of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Thankkankulam, Madurai, in recognition of his extraordinary mathematical excellence.

At the tender age of 7, he demonstrated exceptional numerical intelligence by accurately writing the answers to 100 three-digit number tables and solving 10 complex four-digit × three-digit multiplication problems within an impressive time of 12 minutes.

 This outstanding performance reflects his remarkable calculation speed, exceptional concentration, analytical thinking, and advanced mathematical proficiency.

ONE-HAND JOHOR CROWN RIDE 2026 – COVERING 14 CROWN LANDMARKS OVER A DISTANCE OF 714.7 KM

Mr. G. Kumaraguru (IC No: 770917-10-5367), beloved son of Mr. Ganesan and Mrs. Letchumy, born on 17 September 1977, and residing in Malaysia.

Mr. G. Kumaraguru successfully completed an extraordinary motorcycle expedition by riding a Honda Gold Wing F6B (1800 cc) using only one hand throughout the entire journey. 

During this remarkable feat, he covered a total distance of 714.7 kilometres, visiting 14 Crown landmarks across Johor, Malaysia.

The world record attempt commenced on 13 June 2026 at 07:11 a.m. and concluded successfully on the same day at 10:18 p.m. (22:18 hrs) after completing all 14 Crown landmarks. He completed the entire expedition in an impressive time of 15 hours and 07 minutes, while operating the motorcycle using only one hand throughout the entire journey, covering a total distance of 714.7 kilometres.

By successfully completing this exceptional challenge, Mr. G. Kumaraguru became the first person in the world to successfully accomplish a one-hand motorcycle ride connecting all 14 Crown landmarks across Johor, Malaysia. His outstanding achievement reflects exceptional determination, endurance, riding skill, physical and mental stamina, unwavering perseverance, and an extraordinary spirit of adventure.

The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) proudly recognises this extraordinary accomplishment as the first achievement of its kind and officially records it as an Individual World Record.

ONE MILLION HAND MOVEMENTS PERFORMED BY 1,000 KARATE STUDENTS IN 21MINUTES

A total of 1,000 participants successfully performed 1,000,000 (One Million) hand movements, including knife-hand thrusts, hammer fists, reverse knuckle strikes, ball-of-the-wrist strikes, and elbow strikes, within 20 minutes.

Each participant successfully completed 1,000 hand movements, collectively contributing to the remarkable achievement of 1,000,000 hand movements.

FASTEST TO RECITE THE NAMES OF ALL 118 PERIODIC TABLE ELEMENTS WITH THEIR ATOMIC NUMBERS AND SYMBOLS WHILE ROTATING A SINGLE SILAMBAM STICK IN THE SHORTEST TIME

 M. Mohamed Shaariq, son of Mr. M. Mohamed Ajmal and Mrs. S. Rubiya Banu, born on 22-06-2020, and currently studying UKG-2 at Kindergarten School (Tulipbagh Campus), Kalpakkam, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, India.

He successfully recited the names of all 118 Periodic Table elements, along with their atomic numbers and symbols, while continuously rotating a single Silambam stick, in an impressive time of 2 minutes and 54 seconds.

The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) proudly recognizes this outstanding achievement as the first of its kind.

 This remarkable accomplishment reflects his exceptional memory, concentration, confidence, coordination, and determination at such a young age, serving as an inspiration to children around the world.
