Largest 3D Pattern of the Tanjavur Big Temple Made with Castor Seeds
Nirmala T., born on 01-02-1970 and residing in Bahau,Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, has created a 3D pattern of the Tanjavur Big Temple on plywood. The piece measures 9 feet in height and 4 feet in width and was made using castor seeds within 3 days (a total of 24 hours). Polystyrene, white cement, glue, epoxy, cloth, and metallic paint were also used in its construction.
She stated that she worked on it from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm each day, totaling 8 hours per day.

This event was organised by People Helping People Foundation(PHPF) and Cholan Book of World Records(CBWR) on 23-06-2024 at Gampaha district, Sri Lanka.
Three-year-old Mohammad Shamlan, son of Mohamed Safan and Fathima Ifasa, residing in the Hunupitiya area of the Gampaha district, set a Cholan world record.
He recited numbers, flowers, fruits, birds, animals, grains, vegetables, internal organs of the human body, reptiles, insects, fish, Sinhala, English, Arabic script, political leaders, various professions, world-famous towers, pictures of cricketers, national players, food items, and household items. His attempt is registered as a world record in the Cholan Book of World Records.
Through this, the child Shamlan has received the title of the child with the highest memory capacity in the world at the age of 3.
This event was held in the Gampaha district in the presence of Sri Nagavani Raja, Vice President of the Sri Lanka Branch of the Cholan Book of World Records, and Chandramohan, Vice President of the Kandy District.
Shamlan, the Cholan world record holder, was felicitated by the judges with a framed certificate, gold medal, plaque, and identity card.
